Please explain different cams .
Ive been looking at some different Martin bows and noticed that with the Phantom 2 there is a choice of 5 cams. What is the difference between the Fury,FuryX,Fusion and Z cam. Thanks for any help.

You have a few basic types.

round wheel- more forgiving to shooting errors,
slower, smoother draw, usually more quiet

soft cam- slightly oblong, faster, more jerky draw, less forgiving than round wheels

hard cam- eccentric and radically oval shaped cams, faster yet but even more accentuated problems as listed above

Single cam bows are sort of a compromise. They also have other stuff like hatchet cams that are more radical yet.

Don't feel like looking up the models listed and telling you what they are.

fury is the best cam ever built, fast and good wall, needs maintenancem fury x-target shott through harness system(although they show it with camo! [Wink] fuzion, not bad single cam, z cam not bad dual cam. must adjust timing with all but fuzion. my choice...Fury 100% of the time._BAxter
