Bow telescope?
At 58 my eyesight is no good close-up without reading glasses. I can see OK at distance though.
Because of this problem, I can only see the pins of my site focussed if looking through a really small peep opening. But besides that, having to line up 3 things is simply trickier than 2 things. Rifles used to have a target, a front sight and a rear site. Now rifles have a target and a cross-hair.
On my handgun I have 4x 32 Leopold long eye relief scope.
Question: Why can’t I fit a long eye relief scope on my bow? 2x or even no magnification will do. Or are they available outside of this Dark Continent? If “yes†does it work and where can I get one?
Thanks.
Lochi.

AquavitYes they work. I've been using one for three seasons now. Get the most compact scope you can find, or, better yet, get a red dot that doesn't wash out in bright light. ATM makes a very small compact digital sight that is suitable and HHA makes an adjustable mount with Weaver rails that will accept a scope or red dot.

Boss KongoniMaybe something like this?
http://www.bossproshops.com/bullseye/sights.htmlAvailble with up to 6x magifacation.
At 57 I have the same problem you have. I see at least 2 pins, 2 wires, whatever the sight is...I see 2 of them. I'm about to try something I recently saw in my Bowhunter Mag. It's from Specialty Archery and it has a corrective lens in the peep. Anyone heard of it or tried it?? Sounds like what we're looking for.

Savage99Do you have Progressive eyeglasses? They work so well for me with open sights on rifles and with pistols that I can see about as well as I ever could.
