Good quiet quiver.....
Hey guys,

I'm gettin ready to buy a new bow and I'm looking for a new quiver that is QUIET. It needs to be a detachable one....I was thinking about the Alpine Bear Claw quiver, but I thought I'd ask on here. What the best 5 arrow, on-bow, detachable, quiet quiver on the market right now? Thanks.

The only really quiet quiver I'm familiar with is the one from Great Northern. It's designed for recurve's but the adjustable version would probably work fine on many compounds as well.

I know just the thing. I have it on my bow. Its called the Alpine Soft-Loc. You can buy another piece that you can hang on your belt so you can take it off the bow and use it as a hip quiver

DRNebergall,

Yeah I've been looking hard at that one. I've read some reviews about it.....and it looks perfect.

Trust me, it works GREAT! The only problem I've had is my arrows sometimes slip out of the foam when trying to clip the quiver onto my hip, but its never happened while on my bow.

I just shot my General with a Kwikee Kwiver on it the other day for the first time.Incredibly there was no noise whatsoever.I tried this same quiver on both my old Oneida SE600 years back and my Martin/Howatt Hunter recurve. There was quite a bit of noise with both and the arrows slid down some in the grippers on the Hunter.Really more of a testament to the General than the quiver but it was a pleasant surprise.

Not sure of the model, but I have an Alpine.
The mount acts as a noise suppressor.
Quiet!

I have always used Kwikee Quivers, both 4 arrow and 6 arrow models and have experienced no noise or other problems. But have heard good things about the Soft-Loc quiver.

I have a Mathews quiver on my Mathews bow.

I really like it.

I own a three arrow and six arrow Kwikee quiver and haven't noticed that they're noisy. At least they're not on my Forge bows.

They're reasonably priced and readily available, what more could a person ask for?

Thanks for all the input guys. I bought the Alpine Soft-Loc and it's awesome.....hands down the best quiver I've ever seen.
