Thanks fgulla,

I was using Slicktrick 125 grain standards. They penetrated like drills. I am quite impressed with them. They as expected, zipped through the bushbuck and Nyala but admit I was surprised they did the same on the eland.

That doesn't surprise me. I've been using Slick Trick Magnum 100's for a couple years now and had an almost complete pass-through on a water buffalo, and did pass-through on an American bison.
