Success!
I successfully passed on a 50 pound button buck! Big Grin

I am going through withdrawals now, I leave Sunday for the wide open west (antelope) so am not doing any deer hunting now. I would not be able to process one in time so no point in it.

Ran into some slob hunters though. A new house is going in across from me. One of the owner's buddies dumped his deer carcass on another bordering land owner's property to rot. The smell is wafting across our main driveway.

How do I know they did this? I saw them.

I hate jerks.

Heck, no matter how bad it smelled I would bag that rotten carcass up and return the favor in person.

It only takes a few slobs like that to ruin things for everyone.

Good luck on your antelope hunt!

Thats a real shame the way some people have no consideration for others.

Good luck on your hunt.

Congressional power is like a toddler with a hammer. There is no limit to the damage that can be done before it is taken away from them.

Same thing I thought. Take the carcass to their property.

I blew my first shot second day ro a twig in my wheels did. Then got whiffed on the next night. Then had a Doe bed down 20 yrds in front of me for 45 minutes but tree branches made a shot impossible. It was right by my 20 yrd flag! That doe chewed its cud, cleaned itself, fluffed it tail and did everything but give me a good shot at it.

Good job, Rusty, I am still trying. The little BB's mom was on her way in the other day but she busted me.

Had another Doe come in hard to bleats then stopped turned and nibbled and walked broadside at 20, but she kept looking my way not giving me a chance to draw. Then after a final stare she jumped 30 yds and went back to feeding... The OTHER WAY! Rut should be really kicking in with a cold spurt tonight. I am all butterflys again liek opening day. Had coyotes come in to bleats other AM and PM. Just missed him, got fur!
