I used to live in upper Wisconsin and was looking for a reasonably priced hunt as you are now.
I found Hog Wild (also in the U.P.) and found their prices to be reasonable, the game was as wild as a person can expect in a preserve situation, with good quality.
I've been there numerous times now (filming hunts) and have taken a boar, a sow, a Corsican ram, a Jacob's Ram, an American Bison and an Asian Water Buffalo. While my son was filming me, he also got a chance to do a little hunting as well. He shot a sow and a Corsican.
Oh yeah, I forgot that I too shot a meat sow.
While it's not fair chase, it is a fun and somewhat challenging hunt and the prices were much better than the ragin russian guys.
The lodging was good, the food very tasty and plentiful, and I've had fun every time I've been there. What more could a person ask for?

Patricio Gaudianoget a bow tag for north dakota, and go wild, the state is right for trespass and so you can hunt most areas.... tag is 200....... pretty cheap.
