Does anyone have a 7/8 oz. 12 ga. target load using 700X? If so, do you think it will cycle the action on an 11-87 Rem? Can only find 1 oz. loads anywhere and looking to go cheap(er). Thanks.

I have some lickety split loads in 1 oz. That do well in my 1100,using red dot,let me know if you want to know more,,Clay

Thanks CB, but I'm trying to use up this canister of 700X I've had for years, then I want to go with a better (newer) metering target powder. Seems to be a lot more choices than in the past. Just getting back into the shotshell reloading aspect. Maybe you have some suggestions along those lines.

Almost all 7/8th oz loads at 1250 or so will cycle an 1100. Of course, the only way to find out is to try.... JMO, Dutch.
