michael s-065161Cheddite primer loading data
I have picked up 5,000 Cheddite 209 primers and have not been able to find any loading data with the components I use. I load 1oz. and 1 1/8oz. Remington sts with Allient Greendot and 20 gauge 7/8oz. Remington sts with Unique.

Scout Master 54I believe if you check, Alliant allows the sub of a Cheddite for the Win 209. Most Green Dot loads operate at moderate pressures so long as you're not in the upper range of pressure I would make the switch. Your call though.
Give Ben a call at Alliant those folks are great and quick to help out.

p dog shooterI brought 10000 of them and load them in exchange for the other primers I have used. i load most lighter loads so I haven't had any issues.

michael s-065161I called Alliant and was told that Remington 209p primer data will work with them.

LongwalkerI was told by the dealer who sells them in Canada that I can use Cheddite and Win 209's interchangeably, but that the Cheddite have a slightly larger diameter and hulls loaded with the Cheddites my not hold a Win primer subsequently because the primer pocket will be slightly stretched. I did not verify this.

Hunt-ducksI bought like 5000 3 years ago and sub them for the Win 209 on a heat scale Win and Rem. are almost the same they seem a little tighter then pressing in a Win. I use them on hulls that are on there last trip.

vapodogHere is a quote from Ballistic products:
quote:
Multi Hulls have a 209 primer that is comparable (i.e. produces inconsequential differences) with Nobel Sport 209, Winchester 209, CCI 209, and cheddite 209 primers. Any of these primers may be used where the MH209 primer is shown
