My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

I think it looks great. Attempting to compete with Ferrari with a base price of $60k. GPS/Hydraulic raising of the front end for speed bumps is a nice touch.

GM's finally caught up with the AMX/3, 49 years later?

Was the AMX/3 capable of sub 3 second 0-60 times?

Suppose they always have to introduce a new model in the base for. It is simply marketing to wet your whistle and hype it in that form What is next?
I was really looking for a modernized LS 7 with VVT producing 575-600 HP that ran to 7,000 RPM.
No blowers or OH cams.
Just a light aluminum small block 427 that ran like a demon and gets 28 MPG on the highway cruising.
All that other stuff just adds weight, heat and complexity.

I’m not really a corvette fan, bu I like this new Corvette. I’ve always like the ‘61-‘62 models, but that was it until this one. GM went whole hog to develops it. While I don’t necessarily like the looks of a lot of today’s muscle/sports cars, they’ve got more power and good handling than the 60s era had by light years!

Heed the words of Winston Smith in Orwell's 1984:

"Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right."
