As some may now know, since we Hi-jacked that thread over in the AHF, I am doing a 1968 corvette "Restomod". Here's a few pics to get you up to my current progress.

The beggining

Body removed

Reconstruction

Rear coilover installed

Front suspension w/ rack & pinion steering

Rear 14" Baer brakes

I am calling this project "Z068" since in essence it is a 1968 "Z06"

Damn Steve but those things have to be one of the most beautiful cars ever made!

George,

Any chance of some car and/or biking related emoticons?

This car was givin to my wife by her uncle. He purchased the car new in 1968.

It has been a real nice family project so far.

George,
It actually had sidepipes on it as well, they were the first thing to come off! It looked like something from smokey and the bandit

Steve,

If you can find a couple, I think we can upload them...as long as they aren't Ford-related. Big Grin
