I am having trouble finding a new nipple for my Knight MK85. It is 1/4 x 28.
The big question is are the other nipple manufacturer's nipples the same length ? i.e. CVA, T/C, Traditions

Where did you look?
Dixie Gun Works has at least 6 makes of 1/4x28 nipples in both standard and musket cap size. I would definitely use only the Musket caps.

But are they the same length ?

Does it matter; those are slam fire. If it was mine I would get a breech plug and firing pin for a 209 primer. Much more fire in them.
