I ordered mine today, can't wait for it..I love the #1s with the Alex Hendry forend and fwt persuasion, this one has a 24 inch barrel and I like that in a #1 as its still a short handy gun..and best of all is a caliber I grew up with and shot elk and deer with it in my youth as did my dad at the time. I used it in Africa and did some culling with the caliber both in AFrica and in Texas...its always worked for me, always...I'll load it a lot hotter than my 99..Im pretty exited about this one and it will fit right in with my #1-S in 338 Win. that happens to be the most Accurate #1-S in the history of Ruger, on that I will wager my hard earned money with all comers, all things equel..

Got it and it shoots an inch to a inch and a quarter with one load that's near a one hole, so will work on that that load with more testing, at any rate its a 250-3000 and they ALL shoot good..
