Just going off a limited description, apparently 357 magnum/38 special, engraved action. Spelling of the maker may be wrong as well. I cant find anything on google, anyone heard of this model?

I saw a 12ga 3"

Marked "Companion" Gardone, Vt - Italy MAVI. Eagle Arms N.Y.N.Y.

Crest says JLG Arms ammunition.

JL Galef - probably just an importer like Sile , Charles Daly....etc...

Thanks Rich, very interesting. I just posted on the link you posted too, thanks. There is one I can buy and am trying to get an idea of the qualities of this action type. Things like would they be capable of decent single shot accuracy, or are folding rifles more into the "2" at 50 yards" category? Also how the locks hold up and whether they shoot off face eventually. Any thoughts from the learned members here welcomed.
