I just picked up a pre-64 Model 70 (1948) to use for a custom build and it has a very short extractor (3.30"). It is definitely a Model 70 extractor but way too short for the'06. Could it be off a 22 Hornet or similar? | ||

My guess would be 1903 Springfield ETA: All pre 64 Win 70 Extractors are the same length. A 22 Hornet has a tiny hook up front is the difference from a standard. PA Bear Hunter, NRA Benefactor | |||
