I was going through some back photo files this morning and came across this shot taken at sunset on the Tanzanian Veldt in Masailand back in 2005. I was hunting with Luke Samaras Safaris and with my friend and best PH that I know, Nigel Theisen. I really liked the shot then, and now, eleven years later, I still like it. I thought you guys might enjoy it as well. I used my Nikon D-100 and a AF Nikkor 1:3.5-4.5D 28 - 70mm zoom set at 70mm.

Years ago some said he was going to Africa even though he would have to scrimp to pay for it.

He said that he was going to do it because years later he would sit and smile thinking about the sunrises/sunsets he would see in Africa.

Guess he was right.
