Now if you want to see a really splendid .22 rifle have a look at the Westley Richards website for one they made in 1983.

No expense spared I reckon.....

Well as the man said, If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it. I didn't even bother to pull it up. I know I can't afford it.

I've heard that "No expense spared" remark jillion times, and it's the dumbest thing ever. 999 out of a 1000 sellers will clean your wallet if you don't ask "How much do you want for it?". I recently bought a rifle at a gun show that the seller had priced at $1100. I walked out with it for $700. Wake up, it's 2021 you know~!!

I really don't have a bucket list for material things, but if I did, that rifle would definitely be on the list.

Nice.
But in my view, there comes a point where there’s to much embellishment. This one is one of those, for me.

Beautiful rifle, but for me I don't care a whole lot for all that engraving. A little is ok. That is some very beautiful wood though.

My Mauser sporter is the same gun without the WR touch, Sporter version of the mAS, tiny peteat, schnable forend, nice gun..This thread makes me think maybe I need to customize it....

I also have a Sako 22 LR Riihemaki sporter, slim and trim, also a Brno mod 1 sporter in 22LR...Anyone of these guns would make a beautiful sporter, but should I is the question, as these are certainly collector guns in great shape!! faint
