I read recently in one of my gun magazines that Ruger is re-introducing the "10/22 Charger Takedown"

Will the barrel of the 10/22 Charger pistol work on a 10/22 rifle? I suppose most in the USA know where I'm going with this question and how it relates to a SBR.

I don't know know on the charger - on the charter arms, ar7, the pistol barrel could NOT fit the rifle action due to physical, would require machining, differences.

I would expect the same, or that the barrel shank diameter would be different
