hey guys
how often can an Alaskan resident hunt and shoot bear, I was told only every 4 years, and what about visitors to Alaska

It all depends on where you want to hunt. Some areas allow 2 bears per year, some one and others in trophy producing areas are one bear every 4 years.


Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

Only Alaska natives can hunt polar bears.

The brown bears/grizzlys are as Phil says.

Black bears vary from 1 to 4 or 5 a year.
