A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

I don't care what the news reports say. It was a brown bear... ;-)

I recall Peter Hathaway Capstick's story about finding a mamba in the honey bucket in camp in the middle of the night.

I have a very rudimentary out house at my hunting camp.

No room for a bear but a porcupine or other similar critter could easily get in .

I always make sure no critters are underneath before I sit down.

Maybe I should write a book about Alaskan hunting and title it "Death in the Longdrop"

I recall an outhouse near Laredo Texas that at one time was a den for huge Texas rattlers, poured it full of gas ran a trail to the nearest biggest tree and should have gone to the next tree, but killed them all and later dozed it over and dug a new one..Imagine sitting down, reading shooting times and hear that buzzing! the stuff nightmares are made of... rotflmo

Ray, that's NO SHIT! literally! I recall years ago in camp when sitting over a slit trench + had that feeling at the back of my neck of being watched; looked back + this buzz tail was swaying his head in rhythm to my sack. I have never moved so fast in my life.
