Before the shows I posted that John DuPlooy/Muchinga Adventures had acquired the quota in a Kafue area for the '10 season. The area is Sichifulo and the sable are very good there. There is a real chance here for a mid 40's bull. Buffalo are there but will take some work. The area is large and wild with lots of common game plus cats. A Kafue lechwe can be easily added on the drive into camp or out in one long day.

Late August and all of Sept are still open and excellent dates for the area.

No sitatunga in Sichifulo. It is possible to do a sitatunga as an add-on but it would be avaiable in Tondwa. That could be a heck of a safari and allow a real chance at great trophies of sable, roan, sitatunga, Kafue lechwe, eland and quite an array of common game. Of course the Bangweulu is stillopen so and an extra day or two there could also net you a black lechwe and tseesbe. All the Zambian specialties on one safari. That would be fun.
