Offering the same hunt for 2018. Last fall we caught 8 bears in 6 days. Our clients went 100%.
This is a great hunt in beautiful country. The terrain isn't all that difficult for clients to get around. All color phases you could ask for black, brown, blonde and mixed. And for a treat the Bull elk were all around camp bulging back and forth.

We are offering Black Bear hunts in New Mexico with hounds.
$2950 for 4 day hunt. Add 7.0 sales tax. Original price $3500.00

DUE TO CANCELLATIONS, WE HAVE A COUPLE OPENINGS
AVAILIABLE! INFORMATION BELOW ON A NEW POST.

Dates September 25th-28th
28th-October 2nd
October 2nd-6th.
More dates maybe available later in the fall.

Season Starts near the end of August and runs into November depending on Quota fill.

Non-Resident Black Bear License = OTC $335 (includes stamps and game hunting license)

Hunt includes all food and lodging in comfortable wall tents.

Taxidermy work & airfare not included in hunt.

We run Cameron cross Bluetick hounds that are hunted year round on bobcat, mountain lion, coons and black bears.
Thanks for looking.

Not me I love hunting stuff with dogs. One thing about hunting bear with dogs...the chase can be grueling as those bears can just seem to run forever in the steepest terrain. Definitely more of a workout than cats.

Just a thought, it might be timing? I myself, am waiting on draw results before I commit to an OTC tag.

Sounds like a great hunt.

I'd love to but I had a knee replaced recently and I don't think that I could keep up with the dogs.

It's something I would like to do, but is on the 'someday' list. It's too expensive for me at the moment.

Hello impala#03

Depending on the quota fill, more then likely the Jemez because we'll have a wall tent camp already set up and the Bear numbers are high.

Thanks

Steve, I live in AZ and already have a couple of great bears. Can you do lions in NM? I've done 1 lion hunt with dogs in AZ, it was a great experience although no lion was harvested.

I would love to hunt black bear over dogs, but my arthritic hip says otherwise.

Do you offer any bait hunts?

Last fall we had clients that weren't in the best shape and they all reached the tree without any problems. Two clients were able to walk down a old closed logging road.

Thanks

That is a hell of a deal. Too bad I am hunting brown bears in AK this fall or I would take it.
