Outfitter: Routier Outfitting

Location: NW South Dakota in Harding County. Closest towns would be Buffalo or Camp Crook

Weapons: Archery

Species: Whitetail Deer and Mule Deer

Season Dates: Traditionally the season starts the last Saturday of September and goes until December 31.

License Deadline And Fees: Archery licenses were $286 this year and they are guaranteed. There is no deadline as long as you have your license before the hunt. You do have to send in a application. This is good for one any animal.
That means you can shoot one buck that is either a Whitetail or Mule Deer and we have both species.

Prices And Packages: Archery hunts are five full days at the price of $3500 +5.5% South Dakota sales tax.

This includes all of your guides, lodging and meals. You stay right in the ranch house with us and have your own bedroom and bathroom. Meals are home cooked ranch style meals and occasionally restaurants. If you are allergic to anything or have special meal needs please let us know.

Terrain And Hunting Methods: Archery hunting is doing using spot and stalk, blinds and tree stands. Most of the mule deer hunting spot and stalk while most of the Whitetail hunting is done with blinds and tree stands. They are placed on trails to and from the begging and feeding areas. Hunting is done on the river bottoms, pine tree covered hills, brushy draws, badlands, sage brush flats, rolling prairie and tree grounds.

You will be guided by my brothers and parents along with myself. Even though I'm in a wheelchair I still know the animals habitat very well.

We have been managing these 20,000 acres of family owned working cattle ranches for several years and the quality is really improving. We will be looking for Whitetail 130 inches and larger and mule deer 150 inches and larger. The top end for the Whitetail that is possible would be 160 inches and the top end for the mule deer would be 180 inches. There are no restrictions or trophy fees whatsoever. You shoot whatever you like. There is also a chance we well be hunting some local leases.
