Great photos! What accounts for the difference in the Bongo's coat, orange with stripes vs. shaggy brown?

Christophe- What a spectacular post, this would really be a fantastic experience!...Gorillas and all!!
Are you the PH?
What time of year is best for Bongo?
How difficult is this hunt for an old guy... Generally no problem with heat and humidity?
Do you use dogs on Bongo, maybe Sitatunga hunts?
What is best route of travel into Brazzaville from US?
Are you attending Dallas or Reno SCI conventions?
Cheers,

470EDDY, thank you for your kind words.
Hunting in the jungle is very different then hunting in the savannah, the surrounding makes it a fantastic experience. Seeing the gorillas is just top notch.
Yes, I am the PH. The hunting season is from May 1st to October 15. August is not good as it is not raining enough. We had hunters up to 75 years old and they were successful with Bongo. We do use dogs.
The best way to go to Brazzaville is via Paris.
I will be at the DSC convention, we can see each other and talk about it if you want.
Meanwhile you can talk with PAGuardian and check his hunt report.
