As reported in the Hunting Report Forum, our area in Natal has been good for us this year. So far we have harvested 5 Nyala bulls in Natal – the smallest measuring just shy of 27” and the largest touching the magical 30” mark. If you are interested in hunting real trophy Nyala in their natural habitat without driving into fences every now and then, this hunt might be what you are looking for. “Place of many Cliffs” is how the Zulus named the area and cliffs and mountains are what you can expect to see... LOTS of them... but LOTS of Nyala, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra and a host of other animals too. What we are offering is this: August 1st thru August 8th 2009 i.e. 8 nights and 7 days • 1 X Trophy Nyala Bull • 1 X Trophy Blue Wildebeest Bull • 1 X Trophy Blesbok Ram • Opportunity to hunt a variety of other plains game including Kudu, Impala, Reedbuck, Mtn Reedbuck, Zebra, at regular rates. I can tell you for a fact Chris has the Nyala. I took a 27-3/4" bull end of May and a great Wildebeest. I personally seen 10 or so good bulls.Chris does not promote what he does not have this is a great hunt and you would not be disappointed if you go. Great people great hunting, and great lodge what more could you ask for. Keep up the good work Chris and hope to be back soon. | |||

If your looking for a RW record class Nyala, look no further. Not only does this area hold many Nyala bulls of record class quality, but it is very scenic country. Lots of Blue Wildebeest, Kudu, Zebra etc., can be hunted there but I'm telling you, some outstanding Nyala hunting to be had. One thing we all have in common: we all want to go back! If your after a common Blesbok that will bust 17 inches (an 18.25" was taken two days before my hunt) ask me about it and big Black Wildebeest and Common Reedbuck. This hunt is priced well below what it's worth, and I can't recommend it any higher. Call me if your serious about hunting Nyala in their native land.
