I’m considering taking my stepson, his wife and my wife on a plains game hunt next year in SA. I would like to hunt somewhere close enough to KNP for easy day trip(s) for the ladies. Stepson will be the shooter, the rest of us observers, although I might get the shooting urge. Want a fairly large property ( greater than 10,000 acres). Any suggestions?

Infinito Safaris-Charl van Rooyen. tu2 You won't be disappointed. Charl's in Tanzania right now, but get on his website and contact him. He will be back in South Africa on October 26th.

What/Where is KNP?

Don't rule out Namibia. If you are thinking 'shopping' day trips be very careful. Consider escorted tours and such. They will enjoy game drives too.

When I've taken my wife and mother to Namibia the PH and his wife have always entertained them and organized tours and such.

Krueger National Park.

I will second Charl at Infinito. He is a great PH and a pleasure to hunt with.

I will third the recommendation for Charl and Infinito Safaris! Have taken many species and all great quality over three safaris. He and his staff will do everything they can to make your safari the Best!

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
