Akshooter10 Day western Alaska Brown bear hunt
Alaska brown bear and possible moose combo hunt Western Alaska.
Again this year I'm offering to AR members an Alaskan brown bear hunt in game management Unit 17 Western Alaska.
The hunt will be conducted by me Bob Couey master guide, it will originate in the village of iliamna at the airport where I will meet you and transport you to the camp.
My price for the hunt is $16,000 but for AR members responding to this ad I will offer the price of $12,500 for fall 2021.
The bears in this area average between. 8 -9 feet but I've taken many larger bears. Some have been 10' but those are the exception.
The Hunts can be either in Aug 20 - 30 or September 05 - 15 .the September hunt has a possibility of adding on a trophy Moose for a trophy fee of $6,000 the Aug hunt has the possibility of adding on a second bear for trophy fee of $6,000. There is no trophy fee for the first animal taken and the trophy fee is only for a second animal. The $12,500 price includes the first animal taken.

AkshooterTent camp, fairly basic (for a reason) but comfortable and dry
I use mountaineering tents for the weather/ wind qualities. Also I like the light weight camps because they allow me to change camp locations readily if need be.

AkshooterI guess I should have clarified the photo was taken within a ouple hundred yards of the main camp. So he'll be around this coming fall short unlikely demise from natural causes.
