I now have two new areas for Moose in the Kamchatka area. At this time we have openings for two hunters during the end of November, middle of December 2020 period. 10 hunting days not counting arrival and departure days. Hunter's will be using snowmobiles with their guides. Cost is $11,000.00 USD per hunter. Deposit of $2,500.00 to book your hunt with the balance due upon arrival.

Kamchatka offers some of the largest antlered animals in the World.
Average spread is from 55 to 65 inches. The largest one taken by one of our hunters was 76 inches!
The hunting season starts September 1st and lasts till the middle of December.
The early Fall hunts are usually done by horseback, but in the late season we use snowmobiles to find tracks. Hunters should be in good physical shape for this hunt.
We provide accommodation in nice hunting cabins with wood stoves.
The packages includes:

Hunting permits;
Auto transfers from the Petropavlovsk airport to hunting area and back to the hotel in Petropavlovsk.
Veterinary certificate;
CITES
English speaking receptionist when hunters arrive and depart from the airport in Petropavlovsk to assist in the smooth entry and exit from Kamchatka;
Guide service (the ratio of our very qualified guides to every hunter is 1:1);
Field preparation of the trophy;

Expenses prior to arrival in Petropavlovsk, and after departure from there to Moscow;

I'll check and see if these are available as we are booked for this year and next. However, I have two Fall hunters that moved to next Spring and one Spring that changed his Bear hunt. That hunt is discounted to $12,500 if still available. You would hunt the Fall season for Bear and Moose. I'll advise what we can sort out and let you guys know. LDK
Update: The outfitter is "Yes" on the combo Bear/Moose hunt, he's sorting out dates/cost, and Wolves are there, but getting one would be chance luck as there are no Fly's on a Wolf.

Gentlemen, I just received word of a new Brown Bear area that has opened for us. There is a possibility to take 2 more hunters this Spring (2020) in our new hunting area. This is a new area with great potential as we are going to hunt this area for the 1st time this April. The price is very good at $11,500.
All lodging, meals, guide, ground transport included, no helicopters. Accommodation is in cabins with wood burning stoves. The territory is huge. All local hunters say the average size bear is 8.5-9.5'. Dates are April 15-25 (snow mobiles to navigate the terrain). In the later season, May 20-30 we can organize a classic safari using Land Cruisers or ATV's. Cost of the May hunt is $11,000. Deposits are $3,000 and you must apply for a Russian Visa right away for the April hunt. LDK

Rastaman; I can offer you a combination Brown Bear and Moose hunt. The best time to make a combo hunt is late September beginning of October. It would be around a 2 week trip, with 10-12 hunting days. Dates available: September 27 — October 8.
The price for this hunt would be $22,500 USD.

AB109; Getting a Wolf would be a target of opportunity. Not impossible but then I do not have a estimate of the population in these 2 new areas. Sometimes there are surprises including the prized Capercallie which is taken from time to time.

Is it difficult to get capes and antlers shipped home? Does a brown bear need to be tanned before it can ship or can you bring a salted hide back with luggage? I'm sure this sounds like a ridiculous question.

Hi Bob, You can't bring your hides, capes, skulls home with you like previous years. Now they must go through a dip/pack type process. Usually several months before they are ready to ship at your expense. This can run $1,000 or more depending upon the number(s) of game and over all weight/dimensions. Unless things change, they are salted hides. Moose horns are very large but airlines have their own rules whether they allow packaged antlers or not. LDK
