This is a night time hunt for those elusive species that are usually harder to find.

We have numerous setups to hunt these nocturnal animals and the results are outstanding.

This is the perfect opportunity to add those difficult to find animals to your trophy collection.

We have access to more than 100’000acres of land to hunt these nocturnal animals, with some strategically placed bait stations on most of these properties. We bait these areas all year round, with a peak in baiting being done from May to August when the hunting season is in full swing.

Trail cameras are placed on the bait stations to help pattern the animals at each bait station.

These nocturnal hunts have proven to be extremely exciting and rewarding. You never know what you will see next or expect to see at a certain bait station.

We also do spotlighting for African Wild Cat, African Civet, Bushpig, Porcupine or any of the species we might find.

For Black Back Jackal and Caracal the best method is usually to run a caller in an open field or river bed. There is no better sound than that of a Black Back Jackal returning the call at dusk.

For the best chance at success we recommend a ten day hunt, although if you are limited in time we can reduce the number of days to 7

The nice part about these hunts is that it's very similar to any Leopard hunt you would ever do over bait.

Now that SA has no Leopard on quota we have to go with alternative options. Wink

I did this hunt with Bossie.

I agree, badger is a poor man's leopard hunt. In fact we had to add thorns to one bait to keep the stupid leopard from eating the badger bait. Go figure!

At any rate, I got my badger, a civet, bushpig, and a couple of porcupines. I missed a quick shot on a wildcat and was too slow on several genets whole spot lighting. I also passed on multiple genets while waiting on a badger.

I only had five days to night hunt and ten is definitely what I'd suggest to do it proper.

If you enjoy sleeping don't hunt with Bossie. He won't let you do much of it. Smiler
