Let it Grow and Join the Fight Against Cancer!

https://no-shave.org/member/StolzersEngraving

Each day, 22,000 people die from cancer worldwide (WHO). There's a good chance that someone you know and love will be affected by this disease. Nearly half of cancer diagnoses and deaths are preventable. No-Shave November's mission is to not only raise funds for cancer research and treatment but to educate the population about preventative measures.

For over six years, participants around the globe have put down their razors and foregone their hair appointments to join the fight against cancer. The No-Shave November campaign has successfully raised over $3.5 million dollars to combat this disease. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer in our efforts to fund cancer research and education, help prevent the disease, and aid those fighting the battle. Each whisker grown allows us to embrace our hair, which many cancer patients lose during treatment. Will you join me?

This year Stolzer's Custom Hand Engraving is hosting a No-shave November contest. Starting the 1st of November and finishing on November 30th, 2017 you can submit a picture of your facial hair and be eligible to win one of four prizes.

1st place prize is a custom engraved Stainless Steel Straight Razor
2nd place prize is a custom engraved Stainless Zippo lighter

Colin, good for you for doing this. I took a selfie on Nov. 5 with five day's growth and will post it along with a selfie on the 29th or 30th just for the heck of it.

I wish I had heard of this in late Oct. A few years ago when the last Harry Potter book came out,my book club at my favorite book store (Book People @ 6th + Lamar)asked me to play the part of Dumbldore in their book release party. They blocked off the whole block. We had over 3000 kids.I felt even better than Santa with all the kids wanting their free photo op.Anyway they asked me to play the part so I quit shaving + in 2 weeks I had a pretty good beard. That was a lot of fun with little kids who BELIEVED.

Never mistake motion for action.

Wow, Randy, a "pretty good beard" in two weeks? This scraggly mustache is all I could manage in 30 days of trying. I think I'll get rid of it as it makes me feel even older than I am ...
