Sid PostDirect flights to Africa from the USA?
I was looking at some plains game hunts in March or April and looked for some direct flights from the USA to Africa.
Everything I saw had layovers in Europe mainly at Schiphol and Heathrow with a few at Charles de Gaulle too.
With COVID slowdowns in Africa, I probably need to decide if I'm going quickly for paperwork slowdown reasons but, I could always rent a rifle there as a fall-back option.
UAE-based flights don't seem practical to me so that really isn't a viable alternative under any circumstance.
So, for those looking to go on Safari and help the local economies preserve their conservation efforts, what do flights look like for you?

MARK H. YOUNGEthiopian has been very dependable ever since Africa started to open up. Both United and Delta will start direct service to RSA in the near future. Call Gracy, TWG or Kathi to get the real scoop. The travel situation is nebulous at most right now. Call the experts.
