this is a decanter I have just finished with 4 of the game birds which are shot in Britain, I am exhibiting my engraved crystal at a big game fair here in England later this month weather permitting ( we have had the wettest summer on record, floods everywhere) The decanter has pheasant ,common partridge (we also call it grey partridge)woodcock, and red grouse.

here is one of the tumblers that can go with it -Black grouse, also known as black game -a beautiful bird which sadly has been on the decline in England and Scotland, but breeding and conservation programs are in place

The Game fair was cancelled in England, due to the weather so I can offer this decanter +2 tumblers with game birds (ptarmigan and black grouse as shown )at a reduced price of $620 for the three pieces. I did so much work for this game fair where I always do well.

David:

Where were you hiding that decanter when I was with you last month? Or maybe I was just so full of whiskey and pies and that I didn't notice there were 4 different game birds on all sides of the decanter.

If anyone here wants to buy a wonderful gift or lovely memory of a hunt, you should commission David to make you a decanter with tumblers or a plate. Just send him a photo and tell him what you want. You will not be disappointed. I get more comments on the decanter he made of me with the puma than I do on any of the mounts on the walls in the house.

Not only is he a great artist, he is an honest, classy, gentleman. Heck, I even had him speaking some "proper Texan" after our 2 weeks together hunting last month. We killed them birds "deader than hell" didn't we David!

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
