This is my favorite. Not top grade, built from a $250 blank. Yet, there's something special about it.

This doesn't qualify as a custom stock, since this is the stock it came in when I bought it from Cal Pappas, a much abused Westley Richards 8X57JS with a shot out bore, built on an Oberndorf commercial action, but this is what it looks like now, after being rebored and rechambered to 9X57 and refinished by Lon Paul.

This is the prettiest I have had and stocked my 1916 Erfurt SR in 6.5x57 with it. Added some buffalo horn for grip and tip to the blind magazine stock with cut down BM to make the TG

I had 3 Remington Custom Shop scopes "70s era" that were made to mount on top of the 40X receivers and were return to battery with external adjustment.

i sure like your rifles!

Jmbrown, I have a virtual copy of that M 31 in 16 gauge. I have always thought it looked factory but was way too nice. Even the wood has the same grain


Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship
