Here are two seperate .404 J Rifles that I've been working on. Just thought I'd drop some photos of either side for those interested and those that suffer from custom rifle addiction.

Nice contrast in execution.
What actions were used?
What actors changed your execution style or are they done for others?

I'm assuming that is a custom made sling mount on the top rifle? I'm looking for something similar for a cz 375.

Beautiful rifles.

looking forward to seeing those two all done up and ready to hunt.

Many of those who suffer from custom rifle addiction also suffer from detail addiction.

Please tell us more about the rifles.

When I did my 404 loads way back, I noticed a distinct difference between Norma and Hornady on the head of the brass. went w/Norma

The 404 rifle with the heel and toe caps is using a FN 98 action
The other 404 rifle is using a Steyr 1912 action

Very tasteful and excellent work Roger. I would be thrilled with either...

Just putting up some photos of the 404 J after doing some finishing on the stock with some of the files I've used which a poster asked me about earlier. These files and rasps were purchased from Liogier and Auriou. I found the handles awkward to use so I replaced them with ones I made using my walnut.
