When was final completed I realized that I had failed to have sling swivels installed and I guess I will have to live with out them. I have photos but no matter what I have tried I have been unable to include the photos. I want to thank Butch Searcy with his help on the project to get the action working. RNB

| rnb, you are the Sally Rand of photographers. Sally used to perform her fan dance in such a way that a little, but never all, of her body was exposed at one time. Do that magnificent rifle a favor and photograph it with an uncluttered background and in such a way to first show the whole rifle, then close ups of the individual parts. | Rnb, That is truly a master piece of fine art! It is as you say, a real shame about the studs for the sling swivels. I'm curious to know how much effort to install by your stock maker. Due to the short length of the forend (which I personally really like the look of), would it be a fair assumption you would be looking at a sling swivel stud being braised onto the barrel, or barrel band, then a sling swivel Stud inletted into the bottom of the stock?

| I talked with JJ Perodeau in OK about adding a soldiered on mount on the barrel and a standard sling mount on the stock and he was a worried about damaging the bore with the heat so he recommended just leaving like it is if I was to do it over I would have had a sling point machined into the barrel blank. As for the short forearm I was looking for the English style look of the early part of the 20th century plus it think it just goes with the project |

| Well hunting season for deer in Kansas has come to a close for another year , I was able to use the new rifle on a early season deer hunt and was able to take a medium size white tail deer with on shot of 300 H&H 165 gr hand load. This gun project is now officially complete, time to start something else. RNB |
