Hello!
Is there anyone here who can tell me how to properly pronounce this Finnish phrase?

Suojeluskuntain Ase-ja Konepaja Oy

So far, i'm thinking it might be pronounced:

Soo-zheh-loose-koon-tayn Ah-see-zhah Cone-ee-pah-zhah Oi (as in Oil)

But, that's just a guess... I'm really curious as to how it's actually pronounced!

Thanks for any help!

P.S. This is what the acronym "SAKO" comes from, if anyone is wondering what this has to do with military guns!

the correct pronunciation would be as follows:

all accents are on the first, then every other syllable (3rd,5th, etc.)

soo-o-yel-oos-koon-tine(long i) ah-se-ya ko(long o)-ne-pah-pah o(long o) uuu (almost like you) Oy stands for osakeyhtio (like inc or ltd)

Thank you! Just out of curiosity... how is "osakeyhtio" pronounced?

o (long) sah-keh uuu (almost like euh) -ti -uu(uh) the umlaut(two dots) over the a or o changes the pronunciation from aah to eaah and ooo to uuuh. it is easier to hear the difference in pronunciation than to write about it. the y is always associated with the a and o with umlauts.
