Ok, you guys, I need your help. I am in the process of helping a computer illiterate friend who has been in the custom gun stock business for 40 years dispose of many take offs. I have no idea of desirability or value of this stock. To me it appears to be original with finish added but what do I know? Included will be the barrel from the rifle but the bore is not good. Approximately what do you think this package is worth?
Thank you
Phil

I can not believe you have not received one response.
The barrel in the condition you describe may actually reduce the value.

That stock should bring him some welcome cash

Just saw this; next time PM me.
You have a Kar98K laminated stock with cupped butt plate and milled bands.
42-43 era, Red glue type Beech laminate.
If I could see the barrel markings I could tell maker too.
Value? $75-100 if you have the hand guard.
Barrel is tent stake material; sight bands might be useful but I have a ton of them.
