10 or so years ago I mothballed a walnut stocked Swiss K-31. The thought is it would be a good gun to have in a time if we had black rifles outlawed. That looks like that will never take place. So I'm going to bring the old gun into the sunlight. I recall it was not too shabby at 100 yards.

Once a petload has been developed, a K31 will deliver amazing accuracy.

I have a couple of K-31s both are very good shooters!

They didn't get shot much, nobody wanted to screw with the Swiss!

I am a sucker for k11 and k31.

It's a impulse buy for me - I see one at a gun show or gun show and I often buy em. Don't see too many - all tacticool stuff these days.

They probably shoot way better that I can shoot them.

I have a really nice refurbished one that I would like to hunt with but i do not trust my shooting with iron sights.

Great guns.

For an army that never fought a war, the Swiss have some great guns. Maybe, that's why. Smiler

I always feel I am handling a surgical instrument when I handle a K-11 or K-31. The triggers are incredible. They even outclass the Swede M-96, in my experience.

I have one. Reminds me of a watch that shoots it is so well made.

It also makes me think it might not perform so well if a bit of mud or sand got in the rather finely fitted action.

I like the old soldier but I'm just as glad it wasn't one I would have had to carry in combat.
