The useless Liberal Govt has finally dropped restrictions at the border. Trudeau was quick to add that restrictions could return if we get a resurgence of Covid cases this fall. News snippet:

The Trudeau government has announced the suspension of its remaining Covid-19 border measures, including the vaccine mandate, mask mandate and the mandatory use of the controversial ArriveCan app.

On Monday, the government announced that as of Oct. 1, “all travellers arriving in Canada will no longer have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter Canada or meet COVID-19 testing, quarantine or isolation requirements.”

In addition, the mask mandate for planes and trains is also coming to an end.

What are the chances that the overwhelming support shown for the new Conservative leader, Pierre Poillievre, made him change his tune? He knows perfectly well, Poillievre would pound him unmercifully on this if he didn't end the restrictions. Castro's son is hoping the voters will forget that his policies served disrupted the flow of goods and crippled our economy. Regards, Bill

Bill I completely agree. Trudeau is running shit scared of Poillievre.

Also of interest now is the Alberta govt refusing to take part in the firearms confiscation (buy back BS) and ordering the RCMP under provincial contract not to do the feds bidding.

Here's hoping the arrogant little dictator is not sleeping well at night. Smiler

Crossed into British Columbia today. So much better than last year. Just like old times but the Canadian border agents are required to wear mask.

A friend cross in to ONT. Saturday no problems.

As far as the agents wearing masks most were not that good looking anyway.

So, what is still required crossing from Canada to the US ? Thinking by air.

We tried crossing into Montana at Roosville on Saturday. First question from U.S. border guard after we handed him our passports was show us your papers.

Pretty sure we have to still prove we are vaccinated to go south.
