I have Hogues on an S&W 66, the finger grooves don't fit me. Has anyone ground them off.

I'd go Pachy but I heard they are crap?

Any other options?

I have both I have re modeled "Pachy's" with good luck but only Slightly.

I prefer "Pachy's" over the Hoogue grips.

I have used them for decades with out any trouble.

The "Pachy" professional model is my favorite.

"Pachy" makes non finger groove models.

Either well give you decades of service.

AS far as remodeling hogues haven't found the need but they are harder so I don't see a problem reshaping them.

They well look ugly just like the "packy's" do after remodeling them. But they work.

My M29 has Packys for 35 years without problems .I have no idea about today's production.
The rubber grips can be reshaped .One of the few uses for a dremel on guns . I never recommend finger grooves because how often do you find one that fits your grooves ?
