O.K. Below are the links to the OEHLER announcement and

to a really LOADED CED M2 shopping cart from CED

direct. Honestly look at the CED package and compare it

to the very impressive package from OEHLER.

Now I seriously ask, is this unit better than owning TWO

CED M2 units fully decked out with battery pack and car-

rying case? The Oehler is $595 & CED $612.00 both shipped.

CED has an infrared accessory usable in ZERO light, yes,

NO sunlight NOR any light. Can Oehler do that? NO SARCASM

HERE! I just want to make the wisest choice. If OEHLER

was selling at $400.00 there would be no question, but at

$600.00 a bit more fact finding is in order. REALLY, it

seems I could buy a super package from CED and an entire

additional CED M2 Chrono Set for about the same as the OEHLER

package offer. So what's the RIGHT move?

Easy, just compare the warranties...

Good going on the 35P, you're gonna be glad you did it.

I had read where Oehler was calling it quits with their chronographs but it looks like they had a change of heart. Good people to deal with and excellent products so I hope they continue to be around.

Ken Oehler is a neat guy. Outside of Austin he has a pecan orchard, and his former M43 training school. He also has his original 1965 mustang coupe he bought new. I am glad to see he is back in business.

My understanding is that Oehler never ceased business, they just discontinued sales and marketing their consumer chrono's. They always were willing to service the old 33's and 35's if there was a problem. I have drug my 35 all over the place and it is like a old Timex (takes a licking and keeps on ticking)

Plus one for Bigfats. Oehler has always stood behind their product whenever I needed help, even after 25 years. Good Choice.

Update; First orders are scheduled to be sent out by OEHLER in August.
I ordered a little late so I am likely to see mine before Sept 30.

The skyscreens are rebuildable - you can buy each piece of the skyscreens seperately.

OEHLER e-mailed me today, my 35P is shipping out next week, my credit card

has been charged, I can't wait! I've had my 9, 11 and 22 year old kids out to

shoot several times this summer including this evening. These are happy times.

I was told mine was shipped Friday. RNB

OEHLER 335P came to me today at about 5:45 PM.
I ought to be using it by the end of next week!

The bullet goes through the BIG triangle and not the little black one at the bottom

When you set them up you'll see what I mean.

Oh and the little black triangles are rebuildable - don't ask how I know ...
