I assume the vintage hammer doubles don’t have hammer/firing pin blocks, right? The reason I ask is out of safety concern should a slip and fall happen, would an AD be likely to occur? No blocks. Just a half cock safety. All my exposed hammer double rifles and cape guns have the slide hammer feature to lock the hammers in the half cocked position. I've never had a problem with this feature over many years of hunting with them. All of my later hammerless doubles made have wrist slide safety button that locks both barrels. ......................
