I'm about to purchase a range finder. Thinking of the bushnell 1000 or the leica. anyone have experience with either one? which one do you prefer?

I've not had any experience with range finders but have recently read a couple of articles by a professional hunter using the Bushnell. He rates it very highly from both an accuracy and compactness point of view. Probably less expensive than the Leica as well.

I've used both and found the Leica to be far better.............. for what it's worth.

Dmac, I see you put down St Joe as your home base, Glad to have you aboard. I'm in St. Joseph also. I'm on the cast bullet and reloading areas usually.
