Back up again. A lot of good ones. I'll add one. At a Hollywood party Jean Harlow was talking to Noel Coward but kept mispronuncing his name with an inflection on the E. Noel finally had enough + said, "Jean, the E is silent in Noel, just like the T in Harlow."
