I remember when Charles was looking for a bride in 79 or thereabouts that there was a cover picture on one of the tabloids of Charles in a lawn chair, looking effeminate + foppish as usual with the caption, "The prince is looking for a queen!" Wish I had bought a copy for posterity.

They have family issues just like all of us. Can't you just leave them alone in this time of their grief?

You are correct, of course, but one has to admit that the odds on one of the royal family reading postings on the AR humor forum are slim at best. In all sincerity, I do wish the best for the surviving family members in their time of mourning, which unfortunately is on every magazine cover + TV station. I would have a hard time dealing with it myself. I will confess that I have never had a lot of respect for Charles but on the other hand, on a REAL basis, we have a son who has just lost his Mother. That's about as personal as it gets.
