PalmerMix 2 cups of Quaker corn meal and 2 cups of dry instant mashed potatoes.
Add a well drained cup of corn, one raw egg, a table spoon of honey or dark Karo syrup, 1 teaspoon of peppermint oil and 2 table spoons of vanilla extract.
Mix in the juice from the canned corn slowly until the dough feels sticky. If you dont have enough juice in the corn can add strawberry soda pop or Coca Cola as needed.
Keep it in portions that it feels like it will stay on the hook. You can refrigerate it but dont freeze it.
Keep it in a can with a lid and pinch out balls about one inch in diameter, roll them a little to compact them and put on a treble hook and squeeze them down to about 3/4".
Or forget it all and just use worms.

MikelravyCanned corn works as well as anything You can flavor it if you want. Vanilla, Koolaid pancake syrup etc. Be sure to toss out a half can or so to get them going. Better yet to put it out a day or so before you fish.
