We traveled from Houston through Seattle to Vancouver. From Vancouver to Bella Bella Island.
We booked with
Westwind Tugboat Cruises
The tugboat, The Parry held 12 guests (6 couples). We never felt over crowded or rushed. Our schedule was pretty much our own.

Our Cruise was from Sept. 3rd-9th.
We fished along the Inside Passage just north of Bella Bella Island. The water was smooth, no big wave, or getting tossed around problems!
We had a delightful experience on the boat!

Our home for the next 6 days. The Parry. A converted 1941 Tugboat.

With the original engine! Spotless engine room!

Our accommodations were very nice. The boat held 12 guests and a crew of 5.
Main cabin where we took our meals.

The food was great!
Our cook did a great job.

She prepared our meals on this 1941 diesel fired stove/oven, that also served to heat water for the ship! Please note no knobs to adjust burners!

The crew/guides took very good care of us!

The equiptment and boats we were provided with were in good shape.

Mainly we just had FUN

Several guests got to try their hands at fly fishing on a couple of the rivers.

Whales? Who said Whales? In our cove?

More scenery.

More Fish!

I think this picture sums it up for us!

We look forward to going again!

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Great pics Rusty! How long was that tug? I love the pic of the engine room - that is sweet!! Anyone that keeps the engine room looking like that takes great care of his boat.

As I suspected during our pre-trip discussions, the scenery could pass for SE Alaska and looks very similar to my black bear territory. By the way, I've cooked on that exact model of stove.

I'm glad y'all had a great trip; thanks for sharing!
