Well the Handgun Forum here is planning a little get together for some pigs in March...

I'm looking to add some fishing to the trip...

Anyone know about Lake Talquin near Tallahassee?Seems like lots of water and facilities around...

Or salt water opportunities around Apalachicola and back east along the gulf?

Hunt is NW of Gainsville, south of I-10,so trying to stay in Panhandle area, more or less...

Thanks for any help Wink

"Google" that information and you should come up with some good feed-back.

The best part of the hunt is not the harvest but the experience.

Did Google and seems like the fishery there was declining a few years ago.Looking to see if it has actually rebounded. Most reports there are from vested interests, and looking for impartial input......

If you are going to be around Gainesville, look into the inter-coastal areas to the east. World class speckled trout and red fish.Good luck with the hogs, that area has more than they need.
