SaeedGo New Find Notify Tools Reply Crappie and catfish Login/Join One of Us posted July 4th weekend my sister, brother in law and myself went to the Mississippi River and put out 4 trotlines. Caught 12 catfish, the biggest about 50 lbs (didn't have a scale to weigh it). My sister gave away 3 of the blue's to a coworker.
Here is a pic of the big one. I am 6'1 for reference.
Yesterday July 14th I made a trip to the Little River between Jena and Jonesville, LA to catch a few crappie. Caught 25 on blue grass slab slayer's 5 ft deep in and around tree tops.
