Dan

Your not thinking of Sturgeon are you? I think they hold the heavy weight records for fresh water.

Saw a picture of a sturgeon from the Caspian or some Sea in Russia. That was reportedly 18 feet long & a ton! It was in the bi-monthly IGFA newsletter, so I'm sure they checked it out thoroughly. It was caught with a net.

I did a quick lookeyloo with google and came up with this. It confirms my 70lb number, still they are serious monsters. They eat bass the way bass eat minnows. I have also heard that a favorite meal is ducks... Grass is a pain in the ass. Either your watering it or mowing it. Several people I know have the green carpet fixation. I like telling them either to let it grow wild or pour concrete so it provides storage for automobiles - this generally gets stares like I just advocated shooting cats whoops, not supposed to mention that..

P.S. yeah Dan, it is wicked cool having the a forum all to myself
