We spent half a day offshore on a charter while at South Padre this past August. With my wife and three daughters along it seemed best not to push it longer. Except for my oldest everyone else had their doubts during the day, but by the end all three kids were wanting to know when they could go again. We didn't catch a lot of fish, but each of the kids got to pull something in which made the trip for me.

I hadn't been out in the Gulf since I was a kid but the trip made me want to book another longer trip soon.
